Welcome from our elders!
Dear friends of Redeemer's Grace Church,
On behalf of the congregation of Redeemer’s Grace Church San Diego, welcome to our site. We are delighted to share with you some important information about us and hope that you find it helpful.
This church exists for the glory of God. We believe that we are made expressly to be in a relationship with Him and to recognize Jesus as our Lord and Savior. We strive to bring God glory through singing and praying together, hearing His Word preached, loving Him, and loving one another.
We are an evangelical community of believers in a needy environment. Our setting has its problems and its opportunities. We cannot be sure what life in the future will bring for us as a church any more than we know what tomorrow will bring for us as individuals. We are nonetheless delighted at the spiritual health God has cultivated here and thankful that He continues to bring committed believers into our fold. It is a blessing to serve God in the mission field of San Diego with these brothers and sisters of all ages, backgrounds, and occupations. As part of our mission, we would love to be of help to you. For that matter, we would love you to be of help to us, as we serve God with a Christ-centered focus. Whether it is at Redeemer’s Grace, or someplace else, we pray that God would show you where to commit yourself to His people in His service.
By His Grace Alone,
Pastor Bruce, Chris, Dave, and Luke

About RGC
THE GREAT COMMISSION
But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated. When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful. And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Matthew 28:16-20
Matthew 28:16-20
VISION
The vision for Redeemer’s Grace Church is grounded in the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ states the necessity for his followers to “make disciples” which calls for individuals to commit to Jesus as Master and Lord. We desire to faithfully proclaim the Gospel and to live in accordance with the Word of God.
MISSION
Jesus Christ includes three vital aspects in fulfilling the Great Commission. Redeemer’s Grace Church is committed to fulfilling all three aspects: to go, to baptize, and to teach. We are committed to teaching the Word of God to all believers in order for them to be transformed (2 Cor. 3:18), to be more like Christ (Matt. 10:24-25; Rom. 8:29; 2 Cor. 3:18), and to be equipped to fulfill the Great Commission. We are committed to baptism by immersion (Acts 8:36-39) as the solemn and beautiful testimony of a believer showing forth their faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior, and their union with Him in death to sin and resurrection to a new life (Rom. 6:1-11). We are also committed to proclaiming the Word of God and the Gospel to all—both locally and internationally.
