Women of Gold – A Woman of True Strength
How can you actually be strong? Where does your strength come from? On Saturday, October 24, 2020, Jennifer taught us that a woman of strength is one that fears the Lord and knows that her strength comes from God. The power that works in us is God (Ephesians 3:20-21, Joshua 1:9). We can be strong because we rely on God completely through prayer that is focused and confident!
The effects of being a strong woman are the courage to face difficulty and danger without fear knowing that we can believe in God (Deuteronomy 31:6), endurance knowing that God sustains (Isaiah 40:31), and contentment in weaknesses knowing that God strengthens and builds us (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
We also had a practical lesson on organizing the home taught by Judy. We don’t have to have that aesthetic Pinterest-board home, but instead, we can build a home that is organized and welcoming. Practical tips include using sealed containers, organizing in color, conserving space by stacking like items together, communicating new placements of supplies, and much more!

Here’s what one sister learned:
“This past Women of Gold was SUPER encouraging to me, helping me think more about what a Proverbs 31 woman is: a woman that has an attitude of excellence when it comes to her role. I was also reminded that we as women are not to be weak and just sit there, but that we can have our actions be glorifying to the Lord through praying (being dependent and admitting that you are weak). And the whole purpose of relying on God is to show His strength and that He is praiseworthy. I was pushed to live my life with an attitude of excellence and to wait on the Lord, knowing with sure confidence that He grants me enough strength to continue (after all, God gets rid of the strength meter and operates on His own standard).”
